Is there any fee for using Prediction Token?
The contract would NOT take any commission when you split, merge, or redeem Conditional Token.
When you trade at Predict.finance platform, you won't be charged for buying PT, you will be charged 0.4% when you sell a PT.
Prediction Tokens can also be traded in every major third-part NFT marketplaces.
Who would decide the outcome of the predictions
Currently Predict.finance team will decide the result of the predictions. In the meanwhile we are looking for a third-party arbiter, which all our users have confidence at, to determine the result of the predicts.
And our final goal is to make this part decentralised!
Why tokenID is a bunch of very long integer
Theoretically our conditional token supports all kinds of collateral tokens. Our tokenID is the hash of collateral tokens, question, and selected outcomes combined. That's why it's not incremental.
Will there be Uniswap-like LP mechanism for Conditional Tokens?
TL;DR: LP will kill all the fun of Conditional Token.
If you still remember LUNA, all LUNA-X LP became worthless due to the design of LP. No matter what your X is and how well it performed. Instead of 50%, the LP loses 100% of the value.
If a conditional token is paired with a ERC20 token, when it won a huge impermanent loss will kick in, when it lost the value would drop like a good old LUNA LP.
If 2 conditional tokens are pair, one of the result would eventually lose, and we have talked about the consequence previously.
